LONDON
London is without doubt one of the most fascinating cities in the
world and has something to offer everyone. The Natural History
Museum, the London Science Museum, the opera houses, art galleries
and theatres are just some of the most famous attractions. A tour
around the city will allow you to see the sights; Buckingham Palace.
Westminster Cathedral, Hyde Park and Speaker's Corner, Piccadilly
Circus, Trafalgar Square, St. Paul's Cathedral, the Houses of
Parliament, 10 Downing Street and much more.
OXFORD
AND CAMBRIDGE
These
two university towns, with their colleges, both hundreds of years
old, boast beautiful, traditional architecture, gardens, small
romantic participant cafes and rivers. You can hire a traditional
punting boat and take a lazy summer ride along the river, or
alternatively try cycling through the peaceful surrounding
countryside.
STRATFORD-UPON-AVON
Not only the birthplace of Shakespeare, this pretty, medieval town
boasts quaint timber-style cottages, small craft shops and
boutiques, and typical English pubs.
WINDSOR CASTLE
Maybe you'll be lucky and see the Queen coming home after a
tiring day as she still lives, for part of the year in this real
castle or maybe you'll see another world leader coming to have tea
on a state visit. Even if not you'll be fascinated. Go down to the
river and the small town of Eton, famous for the school, is just 15
minutes walk away.
