ECO VALET BUSINESS PLAN

"Building success and innovation through responsible environmental win win products and employment opportunities"

This business has been constructed and is solely owned by its current owner a British entrepreneur, with a string of successful business start ups stretching back over 40 years behind him who has personally financed the company to reach its present level.. His main residence is currently  Northamptonshire, England minutes away from Althorpe, the estate where Lady Diana Spencer and later Princes of Wales grew up. We believe that before reading the business plan potential Investors should look at the the Impressive business history of the owner and the string of successful ventures he has previously created before this , his latest venture. Information regarding his past history can be found on www.bizniss.com  under the heading "Who is Barry Schiller"

This business plan is for a business operated in the UK but is suitable for investors from any country and is rapidly expected to spread to all other countries. Eco Valet is currently developing business plans for operations in all other countries and Investors are welcome to work together with us to develop a plan for their country of residence or other country. This makes Eco Valet Drywash to valeting, what Mc Donald's is to the humble hamburger van.

1.0 Executive Summary

The Business

Eco Valet Drywash www.ecovaletsystems.com  (under construction) enables the public to avail themselves of  two services:

Exterior waterless vehicle washing and Interior vehicle valeting.( called detailing in the USA)

It would therefore be easy to think that this business opportunity is about saving lakes full of  clean water thus saving lives which it also does. It would even be easy to think that this business plan is about offering the best quality valeting/detailing service available to man which it also is! But actually this business plan is for a recruitment company which gives thousand of people a chance to start their own business for less than £1000 when companies all across the world are firing people. And we do this with government support and subsidies so that they have less out of work population it is a true win/win situation.

This is a specialist highly profitable risk adverse franchise style recruitment company

That is because our task is simply to recruit 3,500 self employed Valeters and grant them a permit, similar to a Franchise, for a sum of less than £2.75 per day i.e £985 per year paid in advance (See Appendix A). The UK has a population of 70 Million and will support 3,500 permitted valeters each with an exclusive 20,000 population area defined by postcode. This gives us £3,500,000 annually received in advance on permit fees alone without taking commissions we earn from product sales into consideration.

Although the concept of offering waterless vehicle cleaning is not new the price structure of others attempted to charge a premium for being green and mainly target eco conscious consumers. The Eco Valet Drywash management system is a unique Green ecological business opportunity providing a buyer with the potential to own a national business with Eco friendly bio credentials, delivering high quality services and own label products in return for an impressive revenue return with a positive effect on the water wastage and the environment at a competitive price no more expensive than regular hand washing systems.

Eco Valet Drywash has no true competitors offering unemployed individuals the possibility to offer reasonably priced high quality waterless car wash services using proprietary branded high quality products, on a par with Auto Glym© in the entire United Kingdom with full radio and tv advertising and corporate identity back up.  Most are trying to compete on a "cheap and cheerful" price structure alone which seldom works.

The business model, licence and its products have been developed and acquired by the business owner for marketing and distribution initially across the entire United Kingdom with plans to roll out further abroad at a later date.

Eco Valet Drywash’s ability to provide a top quality service, both in regards to the actual dirt and grime removal, as well as customer service is all based on the proprietary branded own label products and ability to find the best employees. Hiring the best self employed employees decreases HR costs, associated with turnover and other employee costs and is therefore cost effective. Hiring self employed valeters and making sure that they are well taken care of ensures that they in turn take care of the customers. Adoption of the "FISH" philosophy as adopted by many multinational companies (see appendix B) means that in Study after study it is proven that a happy employee, is far more likely to provide the highest level of customer service compared to an employee, who is not happy and feels that they are being taken advantage of, as is often common in competitors who pay minimum wage.

Eco Valet Drywash is a founder member of the AWWP, the association of waterless wash professionals and continues to support the membership aims of the AWWP receiving a finder’s fee for each member recruited.

This investment opportunity enables the business to grow more quickly and effectively resulting in an extremely high yield return and excellent return on any capital investment. The business in its current model, enables the business to become cash rich eliminating the burden of any further business loans or capital investment. The growth will be driven through a roll out structure with a sole head office coordinating the national operations and recruitment.

This is a unique future growth business industry, with low start up costs for recruited persons, to increase their earning potential and benefit through a nationally led and coordinated marketing and advertising campaign.

The End users

Eco Valet Drywash recruited self employed valeters will target three main groups of customers at their premises: individual car owner and lessees, car dealerships, and local businesses as well as having the opportunity to open either corporate static sites or sites under license. Major blue chip companies, councils and governments wishing to reduce water wastage are also potential major accounts.

There are many different national businesses that have company cars and that require clean appearances. Due to the lack of need for a water source, vehicles can be valeted in situ in showrooms, in company car parks while the owners work, in long term car parks when they travel by train or plane as well as on the street or on their drives in front their homes even in the ever increasing areas of hose pipe bans. All clients return to find their vehicle in a showroom condition.

 1.1 Objectives

The objectives for Eco Valet Waterless Car Clean are:

    1. To be viewed as "the" premium waterless car wash and valet service in the United Kingdom.
    2. Maintain a very high gross profit margin.
    3. Maintain a robust, steadily growing net profit margin.
    4. Expand to the entire United Kingdom within one year of operation.
    5. Recruit the best 3500 valeters in the UK

1.2 Mission

The mission of Eco Valet Drywash is to provide top-quality waterless vehicle care and valet services for vehicle owners and transport companies in the United Kingdom. Eco Valet Drywash will work to keep valeters in gainful and profitable occupation and satisfied in order to maintain impeccable customer service and working together to save water wastage.

2.0 Company Summary

Eco Valet Drywash Waterless Car Wash offers a unique combination of proprietary branded premium waterless car cleaning and Valeting services, whilst also concentrating on the growing number of ethically minded customers, in reducing water wastage and reducing their water footprint. It is an exciting investment opportunity with an existing business model and exclusive rights for the entire United Kingdom, to generate fast growth and sustainable revenue over the full term of the agreement. Market research indicates that there is a significant need for quality mobile vehicle cleaning and valeting services throughout the United Kingdom with currently some 20,000 "splash it on and take the cash" minimum wage foreign nationals supplying an abysmal service in supermarket car parks nationally. Our experience is that by employing competent staff and by providing them with organizational and responsive customer service skills, we can revolutionize the car wash and valeting service throughout the United Kingdom. After seeing the service we provide people will never again allow their vehicle to be attacked in such a unprofessional manner as is currently being offered by others again or waste their time driving to a car wash.

All pricing of our services rendered to our clients, will be set according to the terms of the business model and private insurance regulations and remains at the discretion of the owners.  Thus, pricing of our services will not interfere with the growth of our consumer base or hinder our gross sales.  Sales estimates project healthy revenues in the first year and significant increases throughout the next two years.

The company owner offers this debt free, cash rich business and all reserved rights and products for the United Kingdom (expected annual net profit of £10 Million p.a. ) for only £10 Million or is also willing to accept a modest price of £1 million  plus a small input into working capital of £350,000 for 10% of the company. The company thereafter will operate and grow upon cash flow from annual permit and product sales to finance operations and future growth into further mobile vehicle services.

2.1 Company Ownership

This venture has been constructed and is solely owned by its current owner a British entrepreneur, with a string of successful business start ups stretching back over 40 years behind him who has personally financed the company to reach its present level..

2.2 Start-up Summary

The Transfer of Ownership expenses for Eco Valet Drywash Waterless Car Clean will be as already explained and will take into account all previous investment in developing the business, all intellectual and proprietary rights for the business model and its name for the entire United Kingdom. Following an audit of all existing inventory the new owner will be invoiced for their share in direct proportion to the amount of their ownership of the company however due to the fact that the company policy is not to keep stock but to deliver directly from our suppler this sum is expected to be minimal.

The owner will work with Business consultants, chartered accountants, International tax experts and his lawyers to finalize any outstanding intellectual property ownership issues and has already invested considerable amounts of his own funds in working with experts, a graphic design Company to develop the logo, letterhead, and company printed materials and telephone number for those printed materials as well as the website and online booking and recruitment system. www.ecovaletsystems.com (under construction).

The owner was in the business of chauffeur driven stretch limousine main dealerships and sales which inspired him and led him to research the wash and valeting business as a quick turnaround per car and a showroom finish in any location is incredibly important to the chauffeur driven limousine business. It was this experience that prompted him to sell that business and concentrate on this service. For this reason he engaged a business consulting firm from the USA to establish a system that ensures an efficient valeting service even during peak usage of any vehicle from a mobile or static location and which can be used as a quick valeting service, enabling vehicles to be processed quickly and have all the necessary systems in place to provide a car wash and detail facility which gets any vehicle back on the road in showroom condition and protected.

 3.0 Services

Eco Valet Drywash www.ecovaletsystems.com  (under construction) enables the public to avail themselves of  two services:

Exterior waterless vehicle washing and Interior vehicle valeting.( called detailing in the USA)

This is done by offering self employed Valeters a permit, similar to a Franchise, for an exclusive area encompassing a population of 20,000 population for a sum of less than £2.75 per day i.e £985 per year paid in advance. With a population of 70 Million the UK alone will support 3,500 permitted valeters bringing in £3,500,000 annually on permit fees alone. Permits can also be sold on a wholesale basis either to those wishing to have assignable permits for a whole town or county. (See Appendix A)

Valeters are given their own exclusive territory license in which they clean and finish the inside and outside of cars and other motor vehicles, using a unique combination of waterless products which eliminates the need to use water.

  • traditional car washes use up to 200 liters of water to clean one car
  • revolving brushes seriously damage the paintwork or that:-
  • Power hoses ruin tyres as well as the paintwork of vehicles
  • Buckets contain grit and sponges scratch the paintwork
  • Standard washing does not protect the vehicle from insects or salt
  • Water contains minerals which rust, stay on and damage the vehicle

Clients include private owners, leasing companies and vehicle dealerships. Eco valet can also be operated under license to large DIY superstores, Major shopping Malls, (albeit that our research has shown that it is more effective to provide a service at the entrance of their car parks rather than actually on their site), Major hotel chains and other responsible blue chip companies who are all interested in their green credentials, minimizing their environmental impact and reducing their water footprint with our proprietary water footprint logo.

The quality of our car valeting service with our professional quality own brand products produced for us by Tiffany Drywash
www.tiffanydrywash.com which not only cleans without water but also waxes, polishes and protects the vehicles is undisputed.

Valeters' Jobs vary depending on the customer's requirements, but will include all or some of the following:-

  • Answering customers' questions and enquiries.
  • Assisting with marketing the valet service to potential clients.
  • Examining the car with the customer before cleaning it to decide what needs doing.
  • Removing any insects and debris from the windscreen and bodywork.
  • Dry washing the outside with our waterless cleaner.
  • Cleaning off the tyres, wheels, wheel-arches and mud flaps.
  • buffing and polishing the paintwork.
  • Cleaning the engine. (on rare occasions)
  • Cleaning the interior plastic work using brushes and cloths.
  • Brushing the inside of the vehicle.
  • Shampooing the seats, carpet and lining.
  • Cleaning and polishing the windows.
  • Blackening up the tyres.
  • Completing a detailed quality check.
  • Offering gift vouchers for both products and services

Valeters use specialist tools, equipment and our own brand proprietary cleaning fluids to clean vehicles. They need to know about different kinds of vehicles.

Some chemicals used by other companies are toxic, ours aren't and we pay particular attention to the environment and the health and safety of our operatives. We help them to learn about different paints and paneling as the type of paint determines the best cleaning process to use but our products are suitable for all vehicles from a £500 beetle to a £500,000 Bugatti.

Typical Valeters Gross profit Example

Research has shown that the most popular valet our valeters are requested to carry out is the platinum max which costs £55.00. After gaining experience this valet can be carried out in approximately 60 minutes. Doing just 24 such valets per week gives the valeter a gross income of £1,320 per week. Allowing an extremely generous £528 for materials and products used the valeter retains £792 per week as earnings.

Our valeters are self employed and each valeter services an exclusive area which encompasses a population of 20,000 population, defined by postcode. For the permit holder to retain the exclusivity and be covered by our companies policies (see appendix A) we charge each valeter an annual permit fee of £985. To service the UK population of Ca. 70 million we therefore are able to issue 3,500 permits giving us an annual revenue of £ £2,955,000.00 plus any profits we may make on distributing the products to the valeters or sales of memberships of AWWP. (To arrive at this figure we have assumed that 500 areas are not taken for some reason for the whole year the valeters of the UK but in reality there is no reason to assume that 500 areas will not be taken due to valeters leaving without working for a whole year and several areas being able to be charged more than once.

 4.0 Market Analysis Summary

Eco Valet Drywash Waterless Car Wash can be based anywhere in the United Kingdom, which is one of the benefits in terms of the market that it will provide for any new business owner, although premises on mainland UK are preferable. Due to the fact that our products are delivered direct from our supplier to our valeters strategic access to the National motorway system and Greater London markets are not necessary. We plan a location such as Milton Keynes due to the Milton Keynes development corporation being amongst the more generous corporations offering grants for premises etc for companies locating there and due to our product supplier also being there.

The current market value for a localized Car Hand wash and valeting service is £200,000 based on a monthly service turnover of 500 car washes within a catchment area of 150,000 population. The current owner of eco valet is only looking for a modest purchase price of £10 Million or £1,000,000 and a small input of £350,000 into working capital for 10% of this National UK business. The company thereafter will operate and grow upon cash flow from annual permit and product sales to finance operations and future growth into further mobile vehicle services. Eco Valet Drywash is a predetermined business model based on a permit system across the United Kingdom

70% of United Kingdom households own one or more cars with a regional breakdown as follows:

England 73%

Wales 70%

Scotland 66%

Northern Ireland 71%

4.1 Market Segmentation

"Eco Valet Drywash" Waterless Car Clean segments its customers by type of car ownership. We believe that the type of car that a person owns says volumes about their driving, and, therefore their car washing and detailing requirements.

1.                  New car owners: Owners of newer cars are most likely to use a valeting service. These owners take great pride in their cars and will bring them often to the wash and detail service. The goal with these customers is to promote regular use of the wash and detail service. The aim is to inform these customers that "Eco Valet Drywash" will keep their car looking as good as it did the day they drove it out of the showroom and maintain its resale value. Cooperation with vehicles dealerships will enhance this message.

2.                  Older luxury car owners: These people have either owned their high-end luxury cars for several years or are unable to afford the expense of a new luxury car but want the feel of relaxed driving. Both of these groups want to keep their cars in the best shape possible. Those who have bought second-hand cars will often spend many hours in their cars and will place high importance on keeping their cars looking good. These owners will wish to have regular drywashes and occasional valets as they believe that they are defined by the vehicle they drive.

3.                  Sports car owners: These people are often younger or middle-aged men and will regard the look of their car as important. They will also pride themselves on the look of their car and will have their car washed (at least) weekly. These drivers will have an occasional detail, but will keep their cars so clean the detail will not be necessary very often. However owners with vehicles with a price of over £200,000 have been known to accept valeting contacts costing up to £12,000 to ensure that their vehicle is kept in an immaculate and protected condition.

4.                  Lifetime owners: Many of these people have owned their cars for more than five or six years, and are more likely to be women. They are attached to their cars as friends and though it may be more sensible for them to purchase a new car, they will bring their car in for a wash occasionally, just when the car is dirty. They like their cars to look presentable, and want to keep it in good shape but are not tied up in the look of their car. For this reason, they will not have a detail carried out on their car unless they are selling it.

5.                  Dealerships: These dealerships often outsource car wash services to detail their vehicles before they are put up for sale and the ability to clean the vehicle in situ without messy hosepipes and water gives us an added advantage as does the high gloss showroom finish our product leaves.

6.                  Local businesses: Some local businesses have fleets of cars and small vans that need to be kept clean to maintain their company image. These businesses look for a cost effective, efficient service to perform this service.

4.2 Target Market Segment Strategy

The strategy behind Eco Valet Drywash Waterless Car Wash target segmentation is to assist our self employed valeters to attract customers who will be repeat users and will frequent the business in the typically quiet times for a car wash business. Once customers have experienced the advantages of their vehicle not only being clean but also protected for the price they usually pay just to have the traffic grime removed and spread around the car It will not be difficult to attract customers wishing to have a valeting contract giving them a further discount for signing up to a year’s full valeting at any place or time of their convenience. Our ability to offer the service while they work or are at home enables us in particular to be busy on  weekdays and times when people will not think about having their cars washed. For this reason, Eco Valet Drywash will target people who will tend not to be restricted to these busy times.

·         Business owners (new car owners) tend to be very busy people, but are often able to make their own hours and delight in the luxury of our mobile service.

·         Retired people (older luxury car owners) are not restricted by typical work schedules so will be able to use our service during the week.

·         Dealerships will need cars detailed and washed regardless of the time of the day and week. This will supply a constant flow of traffic.

·         Businesses will need their fleet cars washed during the week during regular business hours or even at their premises at night so that they are ready to leave for their deliveries the next day in a manner befitting the company they represent. The added advantage that they can claim our green credentials for themselves are an added bonus.

4.3 Service Business Analysis

Most Specialist mobile valeting companies are run under franchise, charging up to £10,000 for a franchise license. Our valeters are given their own exclusive territory and an online booking system with no license cost other than their annual permit fee of £945 per year (less than £2.75 per day). Education and demonstration is however an important part of the work as that education increases the demand for the service and therefore the income. Each valeter is supplied with an initial supply of marketing literature and experience tells us that, if the instructions are adhered to and a script is followed, they will soon develop a round of clients. Attitude is everything. (see appendix B)

Clients are likely to include individual car owners and some dealerships, fleets and garages. shopping malls, Supermarkets and large DIY superstores. Every valeter starts by simply going to their designated part of town, introducing themselves to the residents and inviting them to experience waterless car valeting, there and then or leaving the company contact details and explaining that one call or online booking will bring you to their door. Their feedback of their experiences with each household then enables the company to work "for them" statistically to make their business more successful and increase the income.

The system is very simple, to get valeters started they will need our permit and an initial supply of our approved products to begin with their work. We therefore give them an initial supply of products supplied to us free of charge by the manufacturer. Then they can purchase further  Eco Valet products online for which we receive commission on all sales. Government subsidies are available in the UK from “Jobmates”, licensed by the job centres who will pay for the starter kit for the valeter who signs off unemployment benefit as part of a back to work program.

The following chart shows recommend Eco valet charges but the new owners and investors are free to adjust the charges and  remuneration to the valeters as they wish.

If the valeter discovers that the client is interested in water matters and improving their water footprint, the Association of Waterless wash Professionals www.awwp.info also offers both the new owner and the Valeter £42.50 commission for each member recruited.

An Eco Valet Drywash permit is a licence to operate a service similar to a mini Franchise but without having to buy the franchise. Like a Franchise, Valeters are supported with Online booking systems, insurances, policies, advertising (both local and national), Corporate identity, PR, Risk assessment, health and safety, COSHH  and many such services which operating as an individual makes prohibitive. This makes Eco Valet Drywash to valeting, what Mc Donald's is to the humble hamburger van.

The charge to the valeter for the permit is only £985 per year and can in certain cases be subsidised by the Government job centres and as soon as the valeter has their permit and their box of materials they can start to earn for themselves and for any investor as the investor receives not only the permit fee but also commission on the proprietary own brand and labelled products purchased by them to use.

4.3.1 Competition and Buying Patterns

There are 20,000 car valeters working around the UK, and there are usually more vacancies than applicants. The valeting sector continues to grow, though competition is also on the increase but mainly from those who respectable vehicle owners would not allow near any expensive vehicle..

Specialist mobile valeting companies have increased over the last few years. Many are run under franchise, charging and getting up to £10,000 per town for a franchise license. This is naturally a path to take but our recommendation for rapid growth would be to offer the licenses on a county by county basis to professional operators who may then wish to break up the county into towns and find licensees for each town.

Such valeter permits are not for the lazy who need to be hounded all day to get up and work. We expect the valeter to service a particular area so would expect the investor to be informed if that is not possible in order that they can ensure that a temporary valeter services that area of the licensees town in the regular valeter's place.

Clients are likely to include individual car owners and some dealerships, fleets and garages, shopping malls, Supermarkets and large DIY superstores

5.0 Strategy and Implementation Summary

The key differentiator for Eco Valet Drywash Waterless Car Wash apart from our high tech waterless method is the sales and marketing focus which will be on a one-to-one basis, with the emphasis being on gaining loyal and repeat customers as "friends" of the business as opposed to pouncing on innocent shoppers as they enter car parks to do their week’s shopping.

5.1 Competitive Edge

The major competitive edge that "Eco Valet Drywash" Waterless Car Wash will emphasise is the high quality of its customer service and the environmental water waste reduction element. The company will differentiate itself through the courteousness, professional and excellent people skills of the highly knowledgeable and well trained valeters. These efforts will generate good word of mouth among the targeted customer group. As the company grows, special efforts will be devoted to the customer service training of the new employees. The customer is always right will be the core underlying concept of the customer philosophy of Eco Valet Drywash Waterless Car Wash and the adoption of the highly successful management tool of the “FISH” philosophy ( See Appendix B ) which has worked so well for many private and government clients as well as being adopted in UK schools will ensure the success of this element of the business..

The Owner has put a great deal of emphasis on creating a system that is fast, efficient and environmentally friendly, which will keep costs, in terms of time spent per car, to a minimum and provide an educational element to its customers and raise awareness on water wastage with the creation of our own water footprint sticker.

5.2.1 Sales Forecast

The following forecasts sales based upon the Market Segmentation Strategy. Sales in this industry, tend to be higher in the warmer summer months, and to drop off in the winter. However, we will aim to flatten sales across the sales cycle by targeting segments that will want to keep their cars clean and looking good year round. The most popular valet our valeters are asked to undertake is the Platinum max Valet as this is the valet that showrooms wish to have when reselling a vehicle. The cost of this is £55. An extremely conservative estimate of each recruited valeter’s turnover makes the assumption that only 24 such valets are undertaken by them each week giving each valeter a revenue of £1,320 per week.

5.2. 2 Sales forecast by Year

Assuming that revenue of £1,320 per week the valeter has material and product costs of 40% being £528 spent on our proprietary products leaving the valeters £792 per week. A 48 week working year then gives each valeter a revenue of £63,360, being a product spend of £25.344 and an annual earnings of £38,016.

Valeters receive an exclusive area containing 20,000 population and with the UK having 70 million population this enables us to appoint 3500 valeters. Even making the assumption that 500 of these areas are not taken for some reason for the whole year the valeters of the UK will still have a total revenue of £190,080,000 and there is no reason to assume that 500 areas will not be taken. Added to this the company also receives 10% of all £76,032,000 of the own brand products purchased by the valeters giving the company another £7,603,2000 annually in commissions as revenue. Any new owner will be at liberty to choose either strategy or any variation of both.

5.2.3

It is naturally the prerogative of any new owner to employ staff giving the company the total new revenue of £190,080,000 to manage however the experiences gained during test phases showed that having staff who were not self employed involved many levels of supervision in a cash rich environment causing the current owner to choose a risk adverse strategy. (See Appendix A) Self employed Valeters purchase a permit, similar to a Franchise, for an exclusive area encompassing a population of 20,000 population for a sum of £985 per year paid in advance. Permits can also be sold on a wholesale basis either to those wishing to have assignable permits for a whole town or county. Using the same assumptions as in the model in which the valeters are employed that 500 of these areas are not taken for some reason for the whole year the valeters of the 3000 valeters in the UK pay a sum of ( 3000 x £985 ) £2,955,000 annually which is almost net profit. Added to this the company also receives 10% of all £76,032,000 of the own brand products purchase by the valeters giving the company another £7,603,2000 annually in commissions as revenue.

6.0 Management Summary

The owner engaged a business consulting firm to prepare the business plan to offer this unique and exciting business opportunity to market for the right investor. The owner is prepared to offer consulting services to the investor on an initial basis in return for a fee to develop and implement the business model and plan across the United Kingdom as well as to be available during the start up.

7.0 Financial Plan

The following plan outlines the financial development of Eco Valet Drywash. The business has been initially financed by the personal investment of the owner and following its sale and transfer of ownership, will finance growth through cash flow without the need to raise additional capital funding. This will mean that the company will ensure that new owner retains control over the direction of the company but can also benefit from the experience of the business developer..

 7.1 Important Assumptions

The financial projections for Eco Valet Drywash Waterless Car Wash are based on the following assumptions. These assumptions are thought to be quite conservative, as are the financial forecasts. Although we have allowed for 500 permits not being taken up the reality is that due to certain areas being sold more than once per year due to Valeter turnover and our no refund policy it is more likely that more than the 3500 permits will be sold rather than less.

FOR VALETERS

Eco Valet opportunity for valeters, working together to save water,

Would you like to earn £750 ote a week? Tiffany Coachworks Europe Ltd offers vacancies as an Eco valet waterless Mobile valeter.

Eco valet is an Equal opportunity employer and we especially welcome applications from female and older applicants.

Work whichever hours suit you. Full time, Part time or just school hours.

Our clients include private vehicle owners, leasing companies and dealerships. We operate under license to such companies  as J Sainsbury’s, Eden shopping Malls, Major hotel chains and other responsible blue chip companies who are all interested in their green credentials and minimizing their environmental impact.

We live in a world of opportunity and what do we do with this precious opportunity?  Most people do not have a goal in life. If they were setting off for a road trip they’d get a map out but  they wander aimlessly through life hoping that opportunity will land in their lap. Shocking statistics furnished by insurance companies show that from a group of 100 young men aged 25 and having the desire to succeed, 40 years later we find:-

Only 1 is Rich and 4 Financially Secure

A massive 74 are on state benefits or still have to work for someone else

and the others are Dead !!!

Having your own business equates to being wealthy!

There are 20,000 car valeters working around the UK, and there are usually more vacancies than applicants.

Our valeters are observed and certificated to various levels with top end valeters being qualified to offer  valets to Lamborghinis, Ferraris, Maseratis, Rolls Royce etc which can  cost up to £3000 for a one day valet.

The valeting sector continues to grow but though competition is also on the increase those owning a vehicle worth £100,000 do not wish their car to be cleaned at their local supermarket.

Specialist waterless mobile valeting companies have increased over the last few years. Many are run under franchise. Our valeters have all the advantages of a £10,000 Franchise without buying it.

* OWN BRAND PREMIUM PRODUCT
* DISTINCTIVE CORPORATE IDENTITY
* ONLINE TRAINING, SUPPORT AND ADVICE
* RISK ASSESSMENT AND COSHH
* NATIONAL ADVERTISING
* ONLINE BOOKING SERVICE
* EXCLUSIVE POSTCODE AREA OF Ca 20,000 Pop.
* MULTIPLE AREAS AVAILABLE
* ADMIN SERVICE AND HELP LINE
* TRADE CONTACTS
* YOU KEEP ALL YOUR TAKINGS

No formal academic requirements needed to becoming a car valeter with us due to induction program for new valeters on the job.

Very simple System
1) Just apply online to obtain a permit to be covered by all of our terms and conditions, risk assessment, COSHH, Health and safety, Insurance liabilities policies,  and without which no major company in the country will allow you to operate on their vehicles without having it and to be covered if something goes wrong and a vehicle is accidentally damaged while being treated. We live in a litigious society and you will be dealing with people’s pride and joy and probably their most expensive possession next to their house, so it’s essential to have a validated permit. Without it you could be personally sued.

2) Order the Own brand specialist materials you will need to valet the vehicles (First stock supplied free of charge)

3) Once we have received your application and confirmation that you will work safely within the operating policies we will issue your permit, agreed pricing structure and general operating documents, together with an allocation to your chosen area and you can start to earn. As a rule we expect you to take, on average, a minimum of £250 per day with some days being slightly better and others slightly less depending on location. It all depends how hard you work. We are only interested in having valeters who want to work hard and earn well, who are self motivating  and who want to earn at least £40,000 per year.

Our business model does not allow for excessive levels of supervisors to ensure that the valeters work so we only work with those who are 100% honest and whom we can trust  so we ask is that you to inform us in advance at the beginning of each week of which days you wish to work so we can ensure that all areas are covered by our online booking computer. This way if you want to arrive late, leave early and have 20 tea breaks the only person you harm is yourself. I must stress though that we want hard working valeters and if your takings are less than £100 per day other than for more than 6 weeks annual holiday per year we may ask you to relocate to a quieter location which more suits your workplace.

Valeters clean and finish the interior and exterior of vehicles using a unique combination of waterless products which eliminates the need to use water.
Jobs include :-

* Examining the car to decide what needs doing.
* Removing insects and debris from the windscreen and bodywork.
* Dry washing the outside with our waterless cleaner.
* Cleaning off the tyres, wheels, wheel-arches and mud flaps.
* Buffing and polishing the paintwork.
* Cleaning the interior plastic work using brushes and cloths.
* Brushing the inside of the vehicle. * Cleaning the seats, carpet and lining.
* Cleaning and polishing the windows.
* Blackening up the tyres.
* Completing a detailed quality check.
* Marketing the valet service to further clients.
* Demonstrating the service
* Answering customers' questions and enquiries and all the other tasks involved with running your own business (under our guidance).

Much of the time our valeters work on their own or as part of a team, though they have regular contact with customers and management. Their  working hours vary depending on how much they wish to earn and the needs of the clients. Valeters are allocated a designated postcode area of Ca 20,000 pop. so can involve driving but need not due to our unique service we are able to valet the cars in situ so driving need not be necessary.

The work is physical and tiring with a lot of bending and stretching. After practice a valet will take from 15 minutes to one hour to complete. At Eco Valet we have expended enormous time, energy and expertise in researching, sourcing, choosing and evaluating the best, most effective and eco friendly cleaning materials. There are a variety of cheaper waterless products on the market but the quality of our car valeting service and our proprietary professional quality products supplied exclusively to us which not only cleans without water but also waxes, polishes and protects the vehicles from Salt, insects and grime is undisputed.

* Hand washing with water and a sponge results in particles of sand and grit collecting on the sponge and scratching the paintwork on the next time stroke of the sponge

* Power hoses can cut through concrete. They harm window rubbers, tyres and lift any small bubbles of paint causing larger chips to be removed and oxidisation (rust) to form on the exposed metal invalidating most vehicle warranties.

* Revolving brushes thrashing the paintwork shouldn't even be mentioned.

Only when we had the right combination of ingredients which emulsifies and breaks down surface grime whilst wetting agents ensure safe removal of the product leaving no grime remaining on the surface did we allow our name to be used on our own-brand of products. Our valeters are not allowed to use anything else. The recipe is naturally secret but we admit to using Kaolin Clay to gently pull out grit, grime and pollution from the paint and Brazilian carnauba palm wax (Copernicia prunifera), the hardest natural wax and harder than concrete in its pure form. Carnauba is nature's way of protecting palm leaves against UV light, heat, insects and water-loss. It has a high melting point and provides a very high level of surface reflectance costing up to £5000 a tub in its pure form. Very quick and simple to use, it leaves a durable hydrophobic shine that repels water and dirt for up to 3 months and also helps prevent the adhesion of bugs, salts, tar and general grime. It is safe for use on metal, glass, mirror surfaces and all the valeter needs to do is spray a thin film on the surface, spread gently with one Microfibre Cloth. and then buff gently with another clean microfibre cloth to achieve a showroom finish.

To get started with Eco Valet and start earning simply enter the exclusive area postcode (we will allocate you Ca. 20,000 pop.) you wish to exclusively claim for yourself.  Then, all bookings that we receive for that postcode will be passed to you.

The permit cost for a year is only £985 per year  i.e. less than £2.75 per day to have all the rights of a £10,000 franchise which will support you earning in the region of £40,000 p.a.. Our most popular Valet costs £55 (without tips) and can be don ein about one hour after practice.

We will also send you your first supply of Drywash product and Microfibre cloths completely fee of charge as a gesture of our goodwill.

Go online to www.ecovaletsystems.com and proceed via the link on the bottom bar to “Join us” and then click on “join us as a valeter” to see this information again and sign up using paypal to get started.

Appendix B:  The Fish! Philosophy

Stephen Lundin, creator of the Fish! Philosophy, visited Australia and New Zealand for the first time in March 2003.

In my late teens and early 20s I worked at Camp Courage, a summer camp for children with severe physical challenges. As National Marketing Director, Presidential Exchange Fellow, Executive VP of Consulting, and Business School Dean, I visited hundreds of work settings, but Camp Courage remained number one in terms of energy, fun and simple joy. Some of the places I visited could only be described as toxic energy dumps. I began to wonder if there was something about modern organisations that makes a high-quality work life unattainable. I began searching for an image to help me understand what was possible at work.

The Market

After finishing a film shoot on Whidby Island, my colleague and fellow filmmaker, John Christensen, decided to see the sights of downtown Seattle. So it was as a tourist that he encountered the most wholehearted and energetic workplace he had ever experienced: The World Famous Pike Place Fish Market. Two best-selling films and two best-selling books (titled Fish! of course) later, we have come to realise how deeply the work world longed for an image of a place where fun, joy, energy, productivity and incredible teamwork drive out stress, boredom, toxic energy and burnout.

The Fish! Philosophy

When we entered the fish market, we tried to capture on film what the fishmongers did naturally. Two films later we had an exciting formula that would allow any team to create the incredible atmosphere we discovered in Seattle. We call it the Fish! Philosophy. and the following are the four guiding principles.

Play

The fishmongers of Pike Place Fish Market are known around the world for throwing and catching large slippery fish, to the delight of their customers. It is one of the many ways they play.

You and I might do serious work and we take that work seriously, but we can choose not to take ourselves too seriously. The advanced team understands how to harness the power of fun to lighten the atmosphere and create an environment that nurtures innovation.

Make Their Day

On entering the market you could think you were just being entertained. Wrong. The fishmongers are dedicated to making your visit memorable, and they do that by finding ways of making the customer's day. You may find yourself catching a fish or being involved in a harmless practical joke.

Our work days are full of opportunities for making the day of our customers and our fellow team members; a small kindness or remembering a name; a word of support during difficult times. When you "make someone's day" you are focused on serving another. The advanced team has a bond that can be created only by serving customers and one another.

Be There

The fishmongers have discovered the power of focusing on one person and one thing at a time.

As David Whyte puts it in one of his stories, the antidote to burnout is not necessarily rest - it is wholeheartedness. It is the halfhearted things you do while juggling other things that wear you out. When advanced team members interact they are not just physically present, they are wholeheartedly present.

Choose Your Attitude

At the market there is a great deal of discussion about choice - a reminder of what the fishmongers have discovered: you choose your attitude. If you find yourself with an attitude you don't want, you can choose another.

Members of advanced teams understand and discuss the notion that each member has the power to choose his or her attitude, and that each is responsible for that choice.

Why not try some Fish! for a better life at work? Your team will thank you.

Further details Fish!, Fish! Tales and Fish! Sticks are available from AIM Bookshops for $17.95 each.
